We know our customers have exceptional taste in shoes, but how about cocktails? We’re no mixologist but we thought to celebrate the launch of our fabulous range from Izola, we would share our favourite cocktails to give you some finspiration with your new Izola Cocktail Shakers…
I love a tasteful Eggnog cocktail! It comes in both an alcoholic and non-alcoholic form but in my case I prefer the alcoholic version, thank you! It’s extremely filling and therefore probably best served at parties with canapés rather than for suppers out.

I can’t say no to a White Russian (on the right occasion of course). This cocktail is for those with a sweet tooth. Many versions exist; some even include Goat’s milk! But for old times sake, let’s just stick to the vodka, coffee liqueurs and cream.

Who doesn’t love the infamous Sex and the City cocktail, the Cosmopolitan? It can be a risky choice to order at bars, as they tend to use far too much cranberry and sour mix rather then fresh fruit juices. However, I am a firm believer that a well made Cosmo is a deserved classic and a great cocktail to get you started on your Izola cocktail shakers!

I love the sweet and punchy taste of a Negroni, which I always have on trade trips to Florence in the summer. It’s a drink to sip rather than glug. A great cocktail – get practicing now and perfect for next year’s sunshine. Click here to see how.
Add some serious credit to your Autumn Winter wardrobe and repin one of the items from our ‘pin it to win it’ board to be in with the chance of winning your favourite item from the AW12 collection. As you’re all fully aware, during November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces that we see around the world; with the aim to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
As an office full of girls – we are unable to sprout moustaches but we thought we could lend a hand by letting Fin and Sian demonstrate their favorite type of moustache to bestow some inspiration:
If you are thinking of taking part in Movember this year, we highly recommend www.movember.com where you can not only donate and see this years contestants, but also purchase accessories to keep those moustaches tamed throughout November. AMAZING!
Good luck to all those taking part this month, we hope you raise lots of money for such a worthy cause. Please send in your pictures of before and after to Fin’s HQ for a special Fin’s blog appearance – firstname.lastname@example.org
Introducing a new ‘With Fin’s’ collection this season –Yarnz. We have the UK exclusive on the cult brand’s men’s collection of graphic prints in wear-with-all shades. We think they are perfect for adding a pop of colour to your winter wardrobe and will keep you cosy, yet stylish for all your chilly commutes.
Bond, James Bond
First and foremost, a James Bond channel – who’s genius idea was THAT? The ideal run-up to the release of James Bond, Skyfall. This weekend, there’s only one place you’ll find us – plonked in front of a cinema screen with extra large salty popcorn in hand. #Toooooexcited
Fin made an appearance at Walpole Summit last week, offering advice on tricks of the trade for the luxury industry alongside Bec from Astley Clark. They had a remarkable response from the audience and dished out some great recommendations and guidance. AND we also got luxury goodie bags. Bonus.
Team Fin’s Lunch
We waved goodbye to Vicky, our terrific wholesale manager last week! So, this called for a team Fin’s lunch date at Brooklyn Bites. Fin and Sally experienced yet another spooky synergised day #doubledenim.
We wish you all the best for the future V, don’t leave it too long before your next visit.
So, the past two weeks has not been the greatest at HQ since we have all been ill. Will we ever recover?
