Sex and the City may have dominated the box office this summer but our fantastic PR man Adam has been having a Fin’s in the City moment in his pair of the eponymous George Original Suede Loafers. For the ultimate in Euro city chic, Adam chose the George in London Navy to stroll through the streets of Milan, taking him from brunch in the Piazza Duomo to a spot of shopping under the hallowed roof of 10 Corso Como. Luckily for us, he photographed his Fin’s in all of his favourite haunts. We loved his man-about-Milan antics so much that, in a fit of generosity, we are launching an August Fin’s giveaway inspired by his photos. To win a free pair of the Fin’s of your choice, send us a photo of your Fin’s-clad feet in an exotic destination. Either upload the picture onto our Facebook page, or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org and do feel free to send us more than one photo. Happy snapping!

Whilst showcasing our Fin’s collection at the ultra-chic Florentine menswear trade show Pitti Uomo, we were struck by the level of sartorial elegance with which the male attendees dressed. We particularly loved the attire of this dashing duo…that is, until we looked down at their feet and discovered them to be sorely in need of some Fin’s. As part of our mission to improve the shoe-drobes of every man, be they Milanese or Mancunian, we have come up with some fashionable solutions for pounding the pavements of Pitti in eye-catching comfort and style.
On the left: The nude tones of our Amalfi loafer in Positano would be a perfect complement to the muted greys and whites of this outfit.
On the right: With his penchant for striking brights, this man is a perfect candidate for sporting some of our more daring styles. We suggest the Marshall loafer in Jura Heather, which adds an eye-popping edge to any outfit.

It’s not often that Victoria Beckham doesn’t have the most fashionable feet in the room, but at the Range Rover launch party earlier this month she was definitely out-shod by Matthew Williamson in his Fin’s George loafers. With his well-documented love of colourful prints, the eye-popping Ibiza Pink is a perfect fit for Matthew’s exotic aesthetic. For globe-trotting in style this summer, we recommend he picks up the George in Portofino Yellow, Mustique Green and Formentera Turquoise to add to his budding Fin’s collection.
We heart Preston, looking fabulous in his Positano Amalfis. They really are the ultimate summer slip on.
Obsessed with one of our favourite Fin’s ambassadors, George, and his choice of Fin’s today.
Like a rabbit from a hat, our aforementioned favourite Fin’s brand ambassador, muse and trickster extraordinaire, Drummond Money-Coutts, appeared as if from nowhere at Fin’s HQ this afternoon to cast his spell of approval onto the Fin’s Drummond Evening Slipper, due out in September. Thanks to Sally’s photography skills, we managed to capture the magic moment adequately.
We were racked with worry that we hadn’t heard from our absolute favourite conjuring Fin’s ambassador for a couple of months. Our visits from Drummond Money-Coutts are our favourite special treats, as he swoops into Fin’s HQ and performs magic shows just for us. Well, it turns out he has been taking his wizardry further afield than the King’s Road, and was to be found in India, producing the latest “DMC televisual project”, which, thrillingly, is now available for viewing.
Darling Drummond, please don’t forget us when you reach David Copperfield status.
Designing shoes for men is tough when you’re a girl. Why I don’t design dangerously sharp studded leather ballet flats like the ones below, for example, is beyond me sometimes.
Designing for men does has its perks, however, like a constant stream of handsome boys coming up to Fin’s HQ to buy shoes and sometimes dinner. On occasion, however, we need some outside inspiration to truly understand the sartorial needs and desires of a man’s shoe-drobe. Enter Eric Musgrave, a fan of Fin’s since the beginning, and always on hand to offer sage words. A fashion journalisn juggernaut, he has just published a fabulous new book, Sharp Suits, an near-fetishistic guide to the 3 and 1/2 metres of fabric that lovingly creates the most handsome-making item of clothing a boy can wear (apart from a pair of Fin’s, of course).
If you are looking for some bright ideas for your next trip to Savile Row, this is the bedtime reading for you.

We were so excited when Daniel Merriweather popped into Fin’s HQ to see us. We are such big fans of his, especially that song, Red, which we often sing along to in the office. Daniel was off on tour and wanted some super comfy shoes to wear on stage, so we kitted him out in some Montecito Plums, and obvio in some Rio Reds for him to sing our fave tune in…
