The more observant among you may have noticed a few handsome faces appearing around the site over the last few days. A few months back we had the chance to shoot our shoes on models for the first time ever. You can read all about the shoot here. As you can imagine, finding three boys to be the faces of Fin’s SS12 was a daunting task but we think you’ll agree we have outdone ourselves.
So, without further ado, allow us to introduce Niko, Eddie and Orly.
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I was bought up in Berlin but have lived in Australia, the UK, China and am currently living in Barcelona.
What do you do when you’re not modelling for Fin’s?
I am currently studying for a Masters in finance in Barcelona.
(Niko flew over especially for the Fin’s shoot!)
Ever modelled before?
Never! Like a virgin!
What has been your favourite shoe from the shoot?
Where can we find you when you’re not busy modelling for Fin’s?
I am currently working as a film-maker, director and editor.
(Eddie is actually working for none other than Mario Testino)
What’s been your favourite thing from the shoot?
I think the Samuel deck loafer in teal is great for the summer, really wearable! I also want to get hold of some of your Jacob Desert Boots from last season, love them!
(All sold out now, but just wait until you see the AW12 boot offering!)
Ever modelled before?
I did a little bit while I was studying Chemistry at Bristol University.
What do you do when not modeling?
I am a teacher. I teach History and English at a primary school in South West London.
What would you most like to take home with you from the shoot today?
I really like the bright George loafers. Especially the Turquoise!
Have you ever modelled before?
I modelled in a few shoots to help some friends out while I was at university.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of not just one, but two, surprise visits from the Made in Chelsea boys!
We were delighted to see long-time Fin’s fan, Hugo Taylor and catch up with the latest gossip from Made in Chelsea. Hugo stopped by his local cobblers to stock up on a few pairs of Fin’s for his upcoming trip to Dubai and we were more than happy to help him choose a few fabulous styles from the new collection.
We have to say, it was a real treat to see the summer styles on a tanned ankle after a long winter!
The Samuel Deck Loafer looked particularly chic on Hugo and we couldn’t resist taking a few pictures.
Then, later that afternoon, who should turn up but Spencer Matthews! With his trip to Dubai looming Spencer was also in need of a few smart pairs of shoes and of course his first stop was Fin’s.
Be sure to look out for the boys wearing their Fin’s in the next series of Made in Chelsea, starting on the 2nd of April on E4.
The sun is out, it’s a beautiful day and Spring is finally here. After a long winter, Fin’s fans can rejoice and bring their beloved bright George loafers out of hibernation. We are looking forward to spying the Trancoso Pinks, Rajasthani Emeralds and Kalahari Sands back on the feet of our Finsketeers in the coming months.
This summer we have introduced a fabulous new colour to join our line up of George loafers – the Cobalt Blue. We are predicting big things for this addition to our range of tried and true blues.
All of our George loafer colours are created with a fabulous destination in mind and the Cobalt Blue is no exception. This electric blue is a homage to the coasts of Santorini and is best worn beach-side with a cool drink in hand.
Failing that, we think it looks great with a crisp shirt and a pair of chinos!
We recommend this beautiful Hartford linen shirt in Navy.
Fin’s have been up and running on Pinterest for just over a week now and we are discovering more every day. If you haven’t made an account yet, we suggest you do! It’s a great platform to share ideas, images and is becoming increasingly popular with bloggers. We are using our Pinboard to share products we love, outfit Finspiration and special Fin’s offers. Come and join us here.
They are the backbone of any wardrobe, which is why this week we are giving you the chance to kick start your spring wardrobe with 40% off basics. From the classic George loafer in Buenos Aires Brown to our new Samuel Deck loafer in wear-with-all Navy, our handpicked selection of Fin’s essentials should have everything you need for a great shoedrobe.
Winter has gone on long enough and we think it’s about time to embrace spring. At Fin’s that means colour! Blogger Mark Cullum of A La Male agrees, check out his review of our Spring/Summer 2012 collection here.
We discovered this great website last week and can’t get enough of it. It’s super-cute stationary is exactly what we need to brighten up these dull days before the sun comes back out. If like us, you love nothing more than a perfectly presented gift this website is a must-visit.
It’s been a quiet week at Fin’s HQ with Fin away visiting Hong Kong and Shanghai. We are looking forward to her returning on Monday with plenty of tales from the East. Watch this space!
So far, everybody at Fin’s HQ has managed to keep to their Lent challenge. (See what we are giving up here.) However, it’s not been an easy ride! Coffee, diet coke and biscuits are being sorely missed and right now, the 7th April seems like a long time away!
